Book 1

It is RAW, a WIP 🙂

Just then the Earth rocked under our feet and Steve growled and stormed out of the room. What the hell is with him! The earth still shook out of control. Forget Steve, I need to make sure Mandi was ok.

I rushed to the door and opened it and when I did Mandi flew into my arms. I pulled her tight and closed the door. I walked us to the couch and sat down with her as we held each other while the Earth shook.

Damn, that was a long one. It must have lasted 20 minutes. Mandi rose up, with tears running down her face, she whimpers, “Jay I can’t do this. I just can’t.” I pulled her back to me and just held her while she cried, soothing her and trying to assure her everything was going to be alright.

Her sobs slowly vanished but I still held her locked to my body. She slowly raised her face to meet mine and kissed me. I kissed her back glad for the connection and the distraction from the world. She moaned and tried to pull me closer. I pulled back, “Mandi,” I whispered, “We shouldn’t.”

She pulled my head back down and whispered, “Please.” I couldn’t resist, I grounded my mouth to hers and we kissed like there was no tomorrow.

I stood and pulled her to her feet, and with her hand in mine, walked her to the bed. Once there I turned and pulled her in my arms, “Are you sure?” I asked breathlessly.

“Yes,” She answered.

It was all I needed. I once again crushed her body to mine and took her lips in a mind bending kiss. We fumbled with our clothing and eventually made it into bed. I lay beside her and took her face in my hands and kissed her so sweetly. I caressed her body and loved her fully. When we joined it was like time stood still, nothing matter, nothing but Mandi.

She fell asleep locked in my arms. I smiled, has there ever been a better feeling? I thought as I drifted off to sleep.

I nodded in agreement and said, “It will be just as the Bible said it would be. This is the second coming, and the ‘God’ of the Bible has come, but in this version, ‘God’ will not win.”

When I first announced that I was writing Invasion Trilogy about Aliens, I said it was with a twist.

‘The world in 2044, filled with hate and corruption, finds that the ‘God’ of the Bible is not what He appears to be or is ‘He’.

Dr. Jay Winder, a man with a secret unknown to even him, alongside Dr. Mandi Stevens must work with a government he disagrees with in order to save the human race from extinction.

Faced with said extinction, he finds love in a burning world filled with rubble, ash, death, and betrayal.

Does he have the strength, and can he find the will to overcome his past and vanquish the enemy in time? Or will he allow his secret and the betrayal to cause their demise?’

I nodded but I was still worried. I held Emma’s hand a little tighter. “You know until I met Mandi I had accepted the fact that I would always be alone. I was never ok with it, but I accepted it. I never had any plans of bring children into a world so full of hate and ugliness, but these last few days have shown me that the world is not ugly, its beauty just needs to be seen.” I took a deep breath. “Mandi has shown me that I can look past all the hate and corruption to see a very beautiful place, a place that I am not afraid to bring children into.” I turned to look at Dad. “I want that family now. I want the love, the children, and I want Mandi. I don’t want to be alone anymore.”

Just as quickly as it started it was over. I lay there catching my breath. My body ached all over. Yet I was no longer in pain or cold. It was oddly quiet. I no longer heard the machines. I didn’t even hear Raymond or Joe.

I slowly opened my eyes to see where Joe and Raymond were and was met with darkness and emptiness. The only light was directly on me. The rest of the room was in total blackness. I was still strapped in the chair and alone. I called out, “Raymond? Joe? Hello?” Nothing, what is going on?

From somewhere out in the darkness I heard, “We told you not to be a hero. Yet you didn’t listen.”

I looked around peering into the blackness to see where that voice had come from. “Who’s there? Where am I?” I demanded to know.

A laugh. “Isn’t it obvious Jay?” The voice asked. “You’re home.”

I don’t understand. “Home? What are you talking about? Who are you? Show yourself!” I ordered.

Another laugh. “All in due time, all in due time. You are quite lucky we intervened when we did or you would be dead. You see that solution the Dr. Andrews injected into your veins was the wrong syringe. He picked it up instead of the other one that was lying right beside it.” The voice said.

As I struggled to try and free myself I asked, “How do you know this?”

“We know everything Jay. Haven’t you figured out that much yet? It also doesn’t hurt to know that we still have someone inside helping us. It is useless to try to get out of the restraints. You’re not going anywhere, at least not until we are through with you.” The voice answered.

It was my turn to laugh. “You’re afraid of me? The all mighty and powerful Alien ‘God’ is so afraid of me you have to keep me tied up. Don’t make me laugh!” I wailed.

In a loud angry voice the Alien thundered. “Do not mock us Jay as you have no idea what we can do!”

Still laughing I said, “So all mighty and powerful tell me how you became ‘God’?”

There was silence for so long I thought ‘It’ had left. The voice finally answered, “Many years ago, our people were disappearing and we needed a way to repopulate. We searched the galaxy for life on another planet and found yours. We sent our people down to mate with humans and for a long time it worked very well. Until we had several of our kind ‘turn’ and started telling others of our existence. We could not have that so we removed the problems and started anew. It was our people who gave you everything. Yet you have not shown the advancements we had hoped for and in return for our generosity you have turned our kind against us and now you must pay.”

“So it is our fault? You say it is because of you we are here and we have what we have yet it is our fault? That hardly makes any sense. It would seem to me that you are the ones to blame. If what you say is true, your people are the ones who stood in our way and it was your people who taught us to be who we are today, not humans. How dare you blame us!” I countered.

“Believe me, everything I tell you is the truth.” The voice rang out.

I chuckled. “One of the many things life has taught me is when someone says ‘believe me’ they are lying. Never such truer words than the words spoken by the ‘Devil’. You are no ‘God’.

Invasion Trilogy Eden Restored Book 3

“You know you shouldn’t have done that Julie.” Lucifer said with a sneer. “God will not allow you back now. You have gone against Him. You have interfered with His plan. You have said, with your actions, that He does not know what He is doing.” Lucifer stepped closer to Julie and ran his fingers through her hair. Not once did Julie move. She will not have him see her cower.

“You are wrong.” Julie fumed. “You have always been wrong.” She shook her head. “At one time I believed that there was some good left in you. I was wrong. You are evil. If it is Jay you want then take him. Leave the others alone.” Lucifer leaned in and placed a kiss on Julie’s ear. Julie cringed on the inside.

“I believe I will.” He whispered. “I also believe I will take you as well.”

She turned to look at him. “You may take my body.” She hissed. “But you will never take my soul.” Lucifer let out a menacing laugh and gathered a handful of hair.

He pulled Julie’s head back and leaned down until their lips were touching. “You will give me whatever I demand.” He snarled.

Without flinching Julie said, “Go to Hell!” Lucifer laughed.

“Gladly…” He taunted. “And you will join me.” Lucifer took her mouth with his. This time Julie did fight back yet he was too strong. He allowed her to struggle a while longer then lifted his head.

With a smirk he said, “You are no match for me Julie. Resistance is futile I will have you, if I want you.” Julie spat in his face. Angrily he wiped it away and released her. Julie righted herself and just as Lucifer started to turn away he rounded back on her. He backhanded her across the face and Julie flew through the air.

She landed with a loud thud and touching her cheek she hissed, “You bastard! You will pay for that.” Lucifer laughed.
