I don’t want to break tradition with interviews so, when and why did you decide you wanted to be a writer.
When I was 9 years old I discovered RL Stine (The Boyfriend) and Stephen King (Carrie). Once I had read those two books, I was hooked. Writing is a form of escape for me. Growing up, like for some, was not a very good experience for me. I would ‘lose’ myself in my writing and books. In the sixth grade I was tested at a Senior (high school) reading level. I am proud to say that my daughters are following in my footsteps.
Have you always considered yourself a writer?
Writer, yes. Author, no.
